Lead round balls .753
Each ball is cast by hand and 100% checked for quality!
25 pieces of lead round balls for needle guns or muskets in this caliber.
Diameter (approx.): 19.13 mm
The projectiles are carefully cast from soft lead using a French steel mold.
These balls are almost the size of cannons!
This ball was rolled in a drum and then treated with wax and graphite. This means that it no longer has any casting slugs.
The advantage of casting is that there are no cavities in the bullet, because the air can still escape from the top of the mold. During pressing, cavities can appear in the lead, which cause the bullets to have very different weights and therefore different impact positions. However, these pressed bullets do not have a casting slug.
With this method I now combine the advantages of casting with those of pressing. Uniform ball weights and NO casting slugs.
Tania Heber (German Champion, European Champion, World Champion in the various muzzle-loading disciplines) would also only use rolled bullets!
