Lead round balls .682

Each ball is cast by hand and 100% checked for quality!

50 pieces of lead round balls for muskets in caliber .682

Diameter (approx.): 17.32 mm

These balls are almost the size of cannons!

This ball was rolled in a drum and then treated with wax and graphite (see picture 2). This means that it no longer has any casting slugs.

From now on I will roll (drum) lead balls and treat them with wax and graphite.
It is clearly visible that the casting slugs and possible casting burrs have almost completely disappeared.

The advantage of casting is that there are no cavities in the bullet, because the air can still escape from the top of the mold. During pressing, cavities can appear in the lead, which cause the bullets to have very different weights and therefore different impact positions. However, these pressed bullets do not have a casting slug.

With this method I now combine the advantages of casting with those of pressing. Uniform ball weights and NO casting slugs.

Tania Heber (German Champion, European Champion, World Champion in the various muzzle-loading disciplines) would also only use rolled bullets!
