Lead round balls .308
Each ball is cast by hand and 100% checked for quality!
100 pieces of lead round balls for rifles and/or handguns in caliber .308
Diameter (approx.): 7.83 mm
This caliber is ideal for shooting .31 caliber long or short guns with a band-aid patch!
This ball was rolled in a drum and then treated with wax and graphite. This means that it no longer has any casting slugs. However, the small diameter of the ball results in a noticeable flattening on one side (see picture 2) . This is unavoidable from a production point of view.
The advantage of casting is that there are no cavities in the bullet, because the air can still escape from the top of the mold. During pressing, cavities can appear in the lead, which cause the bullets to have very different weights and therefore different impact positions. However, these pressed bullets do not have a casting slug.
With this method I now combine the advantages of casting with those of pressing. Uniform ball weights and NO casting slugs.
